Description
To create a survey click on the button that reads New Survey. You will then see a new survey titled “New Survey Today’s Date Today’s Time”

Survey Status (Open or Closed): To allow respondents to complete a survey the survey status must be Open. If the survey status is Closed respondents will see a “survey closed” message when accessing the link and you will not be able to view the survey as you are creating it.

To view the survey while you are editing it, you may click on the underlined survey name. The survey will pop-up in a new window for you to view. Anytime you edit the survey you will be able to see your changes in real-time by clicking on the “refresh” button in the survey window.

There are 5 buttons that allow you to create and edit your survey: Details, Options, Questions, Copy, and Delete

(Details) From this screen you will be able to add the survey title, your customized log, change the color of the title and bar. You will also add instructions for the first and last pages of the survey and you may add text as a footer. For examples of each click on the Details button then click on the “help” link next to each function.

(Options)From this screen you will be able to specify the number of completed responses, specify a web site to redirect respondents upon completion of your survey, create a custom Survey Closed message, enable save and complete later functionality, and enable report link filtering.

(Questions) From this screen you will be able to view and edit all of the questions you have created. You have the ability to choose from various question response formats, edit question text and response options, move questions up or down, and delete questions. Sample questions are provided to help you quickly see what you can build. If you have no questions created, click on the button New Survey to begin.

(Copy) There may be instances when you will want to copy a survey. For example if you want to use a survey but with modifications to a few items it will be easier to copy a survey and edit those questions than to start over.

(Delete) Use this button to delete a survey: BE CAREFUL! Deleting a survey also deletes all data associated with that survey.
