This month's free lesson plan is the first sample chapter for a book series that we're considering developing.

Each book would have about 15-20 nonfiction passages from a variety of historical sources along with an annotated teacher's guide to help you guide discussions in your class. In addition, each lesson would include reading questions that your students can complete as homework to explore the same concepts you discussed in class.
The sample lesson focuses on Joseph McCarthy's "Enemies from Within" Speech and should take one to two class periods.
